I agree with all of you. Terrible website and the worst customer service that I have ever dealt with in my entire life. They treat paying customers awful! I do NOT recommend this website to anyone. If you have had issues with them, I recommend you file a complaint with the BBB and Attorney General's office.

catholicmatch is a site to avoid, they censor everything you say that they disagree with. so basically it's like in a communist country. You have to adopt the party line even if it is wrong. try to say something against the sexual abuse by clergy and the extensive coverup, they will censor that. this has only recently been acknowledged by vatican itself, after class lawsuit in different countries against the catholic church, that the catholic church lost and had to pay damages to the victims. try to say that papal infaillibility is a myth they will censor that, even pope john paul 2 had to ask for forgiveness from the jewish community, for the wrong doing of the catholic church. . you cannot even tell the truth, they censor you if you tell the truth. is that catholic ? another thing is they prevent you from saying in your profile that you are not a paid member or that your membership has expired, thus consciously misleading a lot of people into believing that you are an active user. they will censor those comments. they pretend and act as if they are very religious and have high moral values, but they are openly lying to people and intimidating their users . I challenge them to allow such postings in their forum. One of the commandments is that you shall speak the truth. the site is just hiding behind the catholic religion to extort money from the members. avoid it like the pest. it's a hideous site hiding under the cloak of religion

The site was good a year or two ago. Now it is full of pretentious members who have been on there for ever. Gee I wonder why? If you criticize any of the nonsense in the forums you get a polite warning from Brian (one of the owners) putting you on probation. If you profess or discuss anything that the "moderators" (insert owners) disagree with they harass you and make the entire experience pointless and dispiriting. It was entirely reminiscent of high school nonsense with emails from members chastising your beliefs. Eventually if you do not acquese they cancel your membership. Its really childish and ridiculous. They even go so far as to cloak demeaning comments which are engineered to attack your opinions with false platitudes like "I will pray for you" if you happen to disagree with them. There are really no women on there truly looking for relationships. They get caught up on calling people sinner and fornicators if they kiss on first date. Nonsense like that . Just keep away. You and God know your conscious. You do not need a site of moderators to tell you how Catholic you are :-)
