While I haven't used the site as long as this Reviewer, I can say that from my experience so far it is not nearly this difficult or bad. The 7 questions described aren't clear cut but in a good way. They're listed as Do you accept the Church's teachings on....premaritial sex, or contraceptives etc. I absolutely accept all those teachings, but have I failed in some? Yes, but that's not the question. I've come to find many girls in the same situation as well, and in a case like premaritial sex where they have themselves listed as believing in the Church's teachings on premaritial sex, but may have failed on it as well in their life. What most of them seem to take from it though, which I do as well, is that while we may have failed before, we don't want to again and are looking for someone who can support us so we can accomplish that. I've also come across others who were virgins, and after explaining my back story with it, and making sure they understand that while I've failed before, with support I'm confident I wouldn't again, they're usually very understanding and have yet to find someone who has rejected me because of that failure.

In terms of people who are going to be nuns, or priests, there's a section in the profile that people can say if they're considering a vocation. I came across a similar situation to this person where a person said she was considering being a nun but just didn't update her profile on it. After talking with her some more, I quickly gathered that in her case it was more of a fleeting thought, and she was very unlikely to follow it through since she had a notable interest in wanting to be in a relationship with a guy. As such, I didn't worry about it and continued contact with her. In terms of coming across someone who is different than they look in their profile, or older than they say they are, very simple solution, we're blessed with technology these days and there's a little thing called skype, that most people have and use with webcams. After a couple messages, and you feel comfortable enough with a person, offer it as an option, you'll know exactly what you're getting into when you do it. The person's mannerisms, personality, etc. will all come out when you're talking directly to them like that, and any shyness that you're afraid of magically appearing, well you can find out right then and there before even meeting them. Give it multiple chances though, I had several skype conversations with one girl, the first went great, the second was boring and she was afraid as such that things wouldn't work out, then the next two went amazingly and we'll likely be meeting in the near future as a result.

Ultimately meeting a person will determine your true feelings for a person, but getting there you can learn a lot and potentially find someone really good for you, who has a high chance of working out in person as well. In terms of being a fanatic I disagree here as well, while most would like you to be going to church at least once a week, and believe God should be at the center of your future family, that doesn't make you a fanatic, nor does accepting the 7/7 teachings of the Church as they are the core of what Catholicism is about. Many of these very good girls, drink socially, and watch shows and movies you're likely interested in as we. I do agree with looking for a girl who is 7/7 is going to be your best chance of finding the girls who are unique to the site, while ones with like 6/7 or maybe even 5/7 might be ok, get clarity on those things if they're important to you, as they may be in a similar situation where they misinterpreted the questions, or failed on one or two in the past and felt it wouldn't be right to list themselves as accepting those teachings even if they really believe in them and don't want to make those mistakes again. My final thought, perhaps start free, but I'd recommend paying a month subscription so you have the option to message people in addition to whatever other perks it offers, try and keep an open mind in terms of long distance relationships as it can increase your options immensely, and take advantage of the forums, as a couple posts here and there will give people a good idea of who you really are, and you'll likely draw some good attention to yourself.
