I have been on and off eHarmony for a few months and I get alot of matches daily. I am 41, divorced, no children and successful. I have run into several duds even a couple of them lying about their age! Like I am not going to find out about it! :-O

I am currently talking to a nice gentleman from outside of my state and we met once and it went quite well. He is planning on coming back in a week or so for a weekend date.

Cross your fingers, everyone. :-)

I have tried eharmony for a long time... I have had nearly 10,000 matches. i purposely do not post a photo because women are into looks etc.. (don't blame them) no one wants to date Quisimoto.? If a woman takes the time to get to know and and I will email her a picture.. Have probably gone on nearly 40 dates with different women and have had my share of dates from hell stories... Also, when I signed up was matched with 3 women that I used to date before joining.. I guess the so called system works??? Though EH is pricey it is worth the entertainment value !

eharmony worked awesome for me!

I joined internet dating because I didnt expect to find the love of my life down the street from me. if I did, I wouldnt have paid for eharmony! Id just start knocking on neighbors doors.

I was looking for dating, not a quick date with a happy ending. Which I think many people get confused on. I tried match.com and others, and honestly, the men on those sites were wanting to meet right away and werent interested in finding out if the girl was worth the meet anyway. they were only looking to see if she was pretty enough and easy enough.

The thing is, I had already lived that life. I did online dating because I was ready to find someone who was quality.

My experience with eharmony is I would get about 10 to 20 matches a day. I could barely even have time to go through them all in order to be allowed MORE matches to be delivered!

I was approached by about 2 men a day or more while I was approaching a few a week, and went into open communication with at least 5 or more. But only one did I feel that special connection with.

And I only used the service for a month.

I am 25, and my search was for men ages 23 to 35. I dont mind about divorce, or kids, or pets, or even relocating. My main factors were only sometimes for smoking and drinking; ambitious; and spiritual, not even christian. Maybe that was the difference I had with other users: I kept the option open that maybe I didnt quite know the resume of my dream man, or where he lived at the moment. In this modern time, people move and switch jobs!

And within a month, WAY SOONER THAN I HAD PLANNED, I found a man that is now my best friend who Ive been dating for a year and half. We live 5 hours apart, but we have made it work seeing each other once or twice a month, talking every day, planning mini vacations and holidays together, and he is moving to my city in the next few months :)

We both admit neither of us were who we would have expected to end up with, but that just shows that the matching process found people who would make us happy based on principals.

I love eharmony for its filter system to keep out people who arent serious about finding the one, and also for being clean and professional. I never had an issue that I had to go to customer service for, so I dont know about their business practice. All I can say is that it worked for me!
