I used EH for 3 months and I found my match sometime in August, then we finally met in Sept and we have been seeing each other since. He was the only match I actually met and I'm incredibly glad he was my first and hopefully last match. I'm no longer on the site because I feel that I've found something a little more permanent. I don't know how they matched our personalities but it really seems like they matched mine to his perfectly. Completely happy with their helpings.

I re joined E Harmony this month. I am 66 and live on the coast of Lake Michigan (west). I had 120 miles in my profile and matches were mostly over 85 miles of water in Wisconsin. I did meet a wonderful man 69 and he lived 110 miles away making it impossible to go out for dinner or lunch as that was too far to go in one day. We email and talk on the phone but it will not go any farther as we live too far apart. I am a widow and he also lost his wife therefore we have very much in common. I now have 50 miles in my profile and will not get many matches I'm sure. I will see if I will stay with them for awhile. I will want to "see" a person and be able to date them also. Older people don't travel as much as younger people do to go on a date.

Signed up for Eharmony 2x. The first time I gave it 6 months and had a bad experience. 1. got matched with guys outside of the age limit I requested... Waayyy out. I requested between 30 and 38 and got matches who were 50 years old. 2. I wanted a match who did not have kids, almost every match had kids either living with them, living with them part time, or who lived with their mother or other family member. 3. 30% of the matches were inactive members, but the greater majority were those with no pictures. I'm sorry, but if you don't have a photo I just keep looking. It may sound shallow, but I did go on a date with one of my pictureless matches only to find out he was morbidly obese, had more hair on his back than on his head, and basically was not honest about himself. (He said he was very active, and loved out door sports. His idea of outdoor sports was fishing.) So I ignore those without pictures now. So I gave up. Then I broke up with a boyfriend I met on my own, and decided to give eharmony another try cause I hear on tv how well it works, and I thought, it's been a year, maybe it got better. It's just as bad if not worse. I'm sorry, it's just not worth the cost.
