POF is used a lot by the PUA (pick up artist) crowd. All these nerdy d-bags talk about is their online gaming techniques on POF and how they get "number closes". They "field test" their material and then discuss it amongst each other and pass it off to one another. They talk about sounding like a bad boy in their profiles. Saying things like "oh i can't email you because I got caught emailing someone for an intimate encounter. So you'll have to message me." They tell each other to take pictures of themselves in public with other people called "social proof, it makes you look like less of a weirdo". Lift weights, and tan because even they know the women there are shallow and only care about looks. It's hilarious too how the profiles of women are just as bad as the men. College educated women can't spell and are so extremely vague that a guy genuine in his attempt can't get an angle on her interests. They say "Oh I'm trying this because I'm sick of the jerks on the bar scene." Yet all their pictures are with them hanging out in bars.

This is the worst dating site I have ever been on and the staff is so rude that they actually threaten you if you report a person for abuse more than once. I don't see how they stay on line...well, yes I do, every man on their site is butt ugly and they lie about their age. It is also a very sick site when it comes to perverts.
