after long term relationships.....i decided to try POF.....single guy...30's...no brad pitt but will try..... i tell you what i encountered in a 6 months on and off....and just being honest.... "the addicted to the site women" met a nice girl.....was with her for about 3 months didnt realise she never came off and was still dating. single mum with 2 kids??? you'd think they be more appreciative of a single guy making an effort for them. not here. how did i find out....she left the laptop on once. she had made me come off the site. " the ego boost" alot of these,,,, chat chat chat, arrange a date..... then cancel. no reason or somthing like not ready to date will be given. i think i had 3 of these. "facebooker" this type of woman just wants you on her facebook. had about 8 of these. they chat to you...u get added to the other conveyor belt of men,,,and then they stop chatting. will never understand that one. "serial dater"= met 2 of these. on the date there good as gold, will tell you your lovley....while really they are planning the next date.....after your date they text you less....suddenly there unavailable....truth is you never stood a chance.....so dont beat yourslef up over it. also may use "lets be friends" "the stunner" : yep shes hot....and yep she is on the site to pee you about. everyone knows cherly cole wouldnt be on pof. unless her confidence needs boosting....quite a few of these on there who will just delete your messege. "the demander" = shes got 4 kids, 3 divorces but shes making demands such as "write me poetry" "dont just say hi" what else are you supposed to say??? bonjour? i shall stop there. i just wanted to state you can if your lucky get a few dates.....but from my expeirence.....always ended up negative. account closed as my confidence took a severe beating.

I have been on and off POF. It is a site that I have never had a problem meeting women and getting first dates. I have had two serious relationships on it. One did not work the other I have been living with the woman for 4 months and both of us our very happy. The complaints about it may be that you yourself made it into Plenty of Freaks instead of a legitimate dating site that serves a purpose without a monthly charge.

I've been on pof for a while now. I am a decent, normal divorced woman in my 50's looking for company with a decent normal man. This site is abmissal!! I put on a recent pic of myself which did look like me! one man who replied to me was 52, but his pic was obviously taken at least 30 years previously. WHY?? some men opened with the line "do you have MSN, or do you have webcam?" go away. most e mails i got were one line - how ru or good morning. how about maybe telling us something about yourselves. what a complete and utter waste of time this site is. it IS full of losers, players, married men and perverts i'm afraid. everyone else who said this is completely right, if you are seriously looking for a relationship you will be on a proper dating site that you pay to join. anyone and everyone can join pof with no vetting at all. they dont even check your e mail address is real. never again!!!
