Bottom Line
Pretty much the bottom of the barrel of dating sites. If "quality" is important, stick with top dating sites like Perfect Match or eHarmony.

The site is indeed bad. Good luck to those of you who hope to meet someone there. I certainly haven't. Guys are equally bad as women. Most of them seem to be verbally handicapped to start with limiting themselves to one-liners such as: "how are you today? Do they really expect an answer to that? I hope not, so what's the point of being there? They seem to be a big time game players joining POF out of boredom or on impulse without any serious intentions to follow up.

To answer Dottie's question regarding deleting her profile (post #338):

go to "HELP" where you find an option DELETE/HIDE PROFILE which will give you the prompting 'click here' to delete your profile.

I have to disagree with ALL of you. I used the site for about a year, and ended up meeting a few crazies and sluts, but truth is, I found three really good women. The first two were just not good for me, as we had completely different personalities... but the third was and still is great!

I met her back in back in Sept. 09, and we met face-to-face in late October. We just had our 6-month yesterday and we both couldn't be too much happier. This is a rare thing for any type of dating, so remember, while you're looking just keep in mind that everyone is scared of being hurt. This will make things smoother later on, and can potentially lead to a very great relationship!

Good luck deleting your profile on POF. I have tried to do this for a month, and cannot delete it. Someone put my profile up as a joke or something, I do not know who it was, and I have been getting all kinds of emails from men. I cannot find out my password so cannot get in, and they will not give it to me. I have emailed them and never get any kind of response whatsoever. They just keep emailing the responses from men. A junk website, for sure.
