I was very disappointed. This site is advertised as "free". I set up my profile, uploaded a photo and almost immediately started getting responses. However, I found that since I was a free, and not "featured" member, I was unable to answer anyone who responded to my profile unless I paid to become ""featured". This in my view is dishonest and false advertising. The site should say up front that it's free to put up your profile but you have to pay to actually be able to contact anyone.

I have a very hard time with connecting to this site. In the last month, I would say I can only get on about once a week if I'm lucky and that's trying every day. I have met some nice men on this site and I didn't have a problem with them charging my credit card after three months and I'm no longer a featured member. I will now send a check if I decide to become featured. It sounds like from these comments that this site has really gone down hill. What a shame.

Singlesnet.com is a good website if you are paying, because the only way you can communicate with someone is if one person is a paying member. Most people that are on it are not paying members. They go on it hoping someone will see their picture and like them so much that they will pay just to communicate with them. Well, what's fair about that? Nothing! You pay and you get a lot of people responding to you who have no real interest in any type of relationship with you. A more reliable and equality based website is one where both parties have to pay. I will not name any specific websites, since I'm not into free advertising, but I'm sure the women (and the men) out there know which ones are more reputable. However, the bottom line is really just luck. Anyone at anytime can meet the right person, if the circumstances are right. Hey, look at the bachelorette, who would think that a bunch of people in Hollywood could pick out a mate for someone?
