omg, you have to be kidding that yahoo personals is great. i know for a fact via my own ex who was on there looking to hookup because i kicked his crack addicted butt to the curb. he lied to the women he met about who and what he was. he would get online at a public library because he lived in a homeless shelter and had all the time in the world, had no job, no car and had two active warrants out on him and was looking for someone/anyone to use again. he would meet them on yahoo personals, then tell them to call him on his cell (the one i had paid for till it was shut it off). i dont care how sincere or intelligent someone seems to be online or on the phone, before you meet them, do a background check and find out WHERE THEY REALLY LIVE!! not merely take their word. he also joined every free dating site he could find in hopes someone would take his bait that he was just a lonely, average guy who was joining sites for the first time, (it was not the first time i now know). he joined plenty of fish, mingle, marriedbutplaying, fling, craigslist, senior singles, you name it he joined it!!

I met a very nice guy on Yahoo personals quite a while ago. We talked over email for a month or so then we decided to meet. We found out we have a lot more in common and the yahoo rating system was exactly correct and we are a perfect match. It turns out we are the same age and only lived ten minutes away from each other. We would have never met without the personals. We have so much fun together and hang out all the time now. I always thought that the internet dating was stupid and didn't work but I proved myself wrong this time. I have found the perfect man and he treats me like a queen. When I signed up for the personals I only wanted to find dates, but there was something that stuck out about his profile to me. It turns out that I might have found the man that I will spend the rest of my life with. Thanks for all your help and letting a shy country girl find prince charming.

I really like Yahoo Personals. Great set up, and quality matches. The only draw back is that many don't have a memebership so they can not contact you. Yahoo has a top class site going on over there though!
